Whether you are planning a newbuild or a remodel project, we like to partner with our clients in the early stages of design. SSD can work alongside your architect and contractor to ensure your design vision is understood, your wants and wishes are considered, and your overall lifestyle and how you want to interact in your space is examined. Bringing on a designer at the birth of a project (ideally at the same time as your Architect) allows for a smooth, seamless and successful project.

We offer furniture sourcing, layout planning and installation services. This option is perfect for the client who is looking for help with filling a new empty space, or sprucing up an existing one. We provide a mood board, layout plans and source pieces for you to approve. We also assist with ordering and procurement to keep things running smooth and stress free.

All of our projects big or small start off with a paid first appointment. This 2-hour in home consultation is also a great option for clients who might be looking to gather ideas and suggestions on how to tackle a single room, or just looking for a jumping off point to kick-start a smaller scale project. Following this initial consultation, we are able to put together a detailed written proposal for clients who are looking for further design services, such as full-service design and furnishing + decor. This proposal outlines our flat rate design fee and project scope of work.
